Umchunga پروژه موسیقی نیما پورکریمی آهنگساز و تهیه‌کننده موسیقی ساکن تهران است. او در طول سالهای فعالیتش در سبکهای مختلف موسیقی الکترونیک تجربیاتی کرده ولی به طور ویژه بر Noise و Drone متمرکز بوده است.او از سال ۲۰۰۶ شروع به تجربه در زمینه‌ی موسیقی کامپیوتر کرد و از آن زمان تا کنون با هنرمندان متعددی در زادگاه خود تهران، همکاری کرده است. آلبوم اول او با نام Should Have Been Done By Now با لیبل انگلیسی Hibernate Recordings در سال ۲۰۱۵ منتشر شد. آلبوم The Brightest Winter Sun، حاصل همکاری او با سیاوش امینی در اواخر جولای 2018 توسط لیبل Flaming Pines منتشر خواهد شد. او در همین سال کار روی آلبوم دوم خود Maniacal Physiognomy را نیز به پایان رساند.

He delved into many styles of experimental electronic music through the years but mostly noisy atmospheres and drones . He started experimenting with computers in 2006 and since then, collaborated with many artists in his hometown of Tehran. His debut album “Should Have Been Done By Now” released on British label “Hibernate Recordings” in 2015. “The Brightest Winter Sun” his collaboration with Siavash Amini is going to be released on Flaming Pines label in late July 2018. Umchunga finished working on his second album “Maniacal Physiognomy” in 2018.[/author]
